Responsible for quality control and coordination of food orders between staff and kitchen cook lines by following the duties outlined below.
Coordinates food orders between food service staff and line cooks.
Responsible for ensuring orderly and timely coordination of food orders and correctly assembles tickets on trays for runners/servers.
Works closely with food servers and line cooks to expediently resolve issues.
Restocking lines and maintaining par levels in order to be ready for service.
Performs all other job related duties as assigned by Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager and Sous Chefs/Kitchen Supervisors.
Must be available to work any shift in a 24/7 industry.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Qualified individuals must be able to regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear; frequently required to taste or smell; occasionally require to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs and/or up to 50lbs. Noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous distractions.
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred, plus 1 year kitchen or service environment related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have ACTIVE California Food Handlers Certificate/Card.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
